Herbs: What to expect in 2020

I love getting my hands in the dirt and watching green stems and leaves emerge. But the opportunities to learn and share are what I think I enjoy the most about Gwen’s Greens!

One thing I’ve learned is that you all love basil, cilantro, and mint the most!

So, this year I’m focusing on The Big 3. You will still find sprigs of thyme, dill, savory, marjoram, rosemary, sage, and oregano packed in your bags….but I will focus on planting and replanting the Big 3 all summer long.

This succession planting will keep me busier than ever because I will re-seed these herbs every two weeks to keep  healthy crops going into fall.

That is my plan. And my hope. But I’ve also learned that growing is often “out of my control.” There are so many variables! Some I can control, and some I cannot. That’s where the adventure comes in.

I will do my best to keep The Big 3 coming to you all season.

How will you use these favs? Share a recipe with us!
