Our story

Mark and I enjoy having a vegetable garden and flowers blooming at home. One of the things I love best about growing is sharing with friends — ripe tomatoes, fresh-cut herbs, and a bloom here and there. When I saw there was an interest in what we were harvesting, I began packing up a bag for friends and co-workers every week. That’s when I realized that the communities surrounding our farm value fresh food, and I decided to do something about it. We started Gwen’s Greens, LLC in 2019, and continue to find joy in sharing fresh produce and flowers!

How do we share?

We like the idea of inviting our customers to “share” in the process of farming clean and fresh food and flowers. When you purchase a Share, you help us by getting the season underway with good soil, organic processes, seed starting and planting. Then we help you by growing and packing the freshest vegetables and blooms all season long!

This year we are offering 3 kinds of Shares (or subscriptions):

  • Farm Share - includes fresh vegetables, herbs and eggs. We pack a 1/2 bushel produce box every week or every two weeks. You choose what works best for you.

  • Flower Share - a beautifully arranged bouquet in a mason jar every week or every two weeks. The best way to have local fresh flowers in your home all season!

  • Green Share - a variety of greens,(like arugula, spinach, bok choy, swiss chard), a mix of baby lettuces, and bundles of fresh herbs (like parsley, cilantro, thyme, rosemary, basil). This share is available every week or every two weeks.
